Paul was their first child.

Paul had one brother, Richard Allen Bunker 5 November 1920 - 25 January 1996.


Paul had three sisters, Carolyn, Corinne and one sister who died at birth.

Paul said that his father and mother built this house. His dad William when he took out the mortgage made sure that the payment was such that when the depression hit they were able to afford their payments. On the 1930 census William occupation was electrician.

Paul is listed on the 1940 Federal Census living with his family. 1940 Federal Census. His occupation is radio repairman. 


Paul enlisted in the United States Army on 02 February 1942 at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana.  The term of enlistment was Enlistment for the duration of the War. Paul served in Europe and Africa. Served 4 years.

After the war Paul married Lorraine Margison on 9 December 1945.

  A high school romance culminated in the marriage Sunday of Miss Lorraine Margison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Margison and Paul Robert Bunker, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Bunker. The Rev. J.J. Bailey officiated for the single ring ceremony in the parsonage of the Methodist church at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon, before only the attendants, Miss Evelyn Margison, sister of the bride, and Richard Bunker, brother of the groom.

  The bride wore a brown gabardine two-piece suit and accessories of brown and gold trim, and a corsage of orchids. Her bridemaid was attired in a black wool dressmaker suit with winter, white accessories and her corsage was of gardenias.

  Mr. and Mrs. Bunker left for a week's honeymoon trip of unknown destination following the ceremony and on their return will be at home with her parents for the present.

  Both are graduates of the Crown Point high school.

  Serving overseas in the Europe Theater of War for 42 months Mr. Bunker was honorably discharged about six weeks ago. He is now employed as chief electrician for the city."

Paul and Lorraine had two children:

Paul and Lorraine's first home was on a lot right behind her father's home. They built this house. They lived there from 1953/54 to 1957.












In 1957 the Bunker family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in August 1957. The family lived there until 1966.

In 1966 Paul, Lorraine and Gina moved to Apple Valley, Minnesota. His son was attending his first year of college followed in the spring.

On 7 June 1973 Paul married Marilyn Rediske.

Paul died on 18 Sept 2015 in Spring Valley, Illinois.
