This weeks prompt Outcast I thought about a couple of ancestors. I have already done Louis Bunker. But he did have a daughter Edna Lorraine Bunker. She married at least two times and no children. The reason I have chosen her is the family did not know about her that I am aware and until DNA the only information I had of her was on the 1920 Federal Census listed as Edith's daughter 1920 Federal Census - Edith Bunker . I do not have a photo of Edna. Grateful that due to finding her and attaching Edna to our family she is not an Outcast anymore.
Edna Lorraine Bunker was born 5 August 1919, Cook County, Illinois. Illinois, Cook County Birth Certificate 1871-1949. Mother E Lakedith Schultz and Father Louis Bunker. Her mother's age listed 17.
1920 Federal Census Edna is only listed as daughter of Edith Bunker's. Edith is listed as married (Louis is not listed), lodger, age 19. Worker, Factory.
As of now I am unable to find her in the 1930 Federal Census.
1940 Federal Census Edna is listed as Suley Edna Bunker. Value of property $2,000. Lodger. Single. Occupation: Hostess, night club.
On 24 January 1945 she married John M Fraszczak in Lake County, Indiana. Indiana Marriages, 1811-2019
1950 Federal Census Edna is listed as Edna L Froszczak living with spouse John M Froszczak. They are living in a hotel-440 Opa Locka Blvd., # (blotted out). Edna is listed as working as Food concession , Beer bar. Her husband is listed as House painter - Contractor.
